A graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, Ricardo has earned the privilege of using both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the coveted Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He serves as a trusted advocate managing clients' wealth and personal affairs with meticulous care. His calming demeanor and attention to detail make Ricardo ideally suited for clients who value clear communication and dependable guidance. He has particular experience serving families with loved ones facing psychiatric issues and dementia.
Ricardo's extensive background includes serving as Vice-President and Portfolio Manager at Mechanics Bank, Managing Director at First Republic Investment Management and Vice-President at Mechanics Bank where he developed expertise in addressing the unique needs of high net worth clients, particularly those with assets of $5 Million and above. Active in the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council, Ricardo stays current on estate planning developments and tax policies affecting affluent clients.
Ricardo offers his financial acumen to serve his community, demonstrated by board service with numerous organizations including Crane Country Day School, Santa Barbara Scholarship Foundation, Breast Cancer Resource Center, Dream Foundation, and Storyteller Children's Center. On weekends, he volunteers as an art gallery docent at the Getty Center. Away from work, Ricardo enjoys time with his wife Dinah, their two daughters, and their poodle Teddy, pursuing interests in cooking, art history, travel, literature and classical music.
